it is 6:00. thank you for getting up early with us. >> this morning the search is on for a man accused of setting his girlfriend on fire in san francisco. the victim's family says dexter oliver threw burning gasoline into his girlfriend's face before taking off. right now that woman is clinging to life at the burn unit at st. francis hospital. that is where "today in the bay's" christie smith joins us live with a look at what led up to this horrifying attack. good morning, christie. >> reporter: good morning to you. this is a horrible story that 25-year-old woman is in the hospital this morning. she has severe burns to her face and chest. her boyfriend is accused of being the one that set her on fire and san francisco police are asking for the public's help in finding him. he's 22-year-old dexter oliver. witnesses say yesterday in the bay view district they watched in horror as 25-year-old was set

on fire. her family was among the witnesses. they say that the pair had been dated for six months and had a rocky relationship. they had returned from the laundromat when she told him the relationship was finished. >> she left the rand row mat and ten minutes later she was burned. >> reporter: he's accused of returning to her home to get that gasoline. lamar was engulfed in flames and ran for a block toward her home. here's the man that police want you to take a close look at. dexter oliver, 5'10", 155 pounds. distinct haircut. a lightning bolt cut on one side and fish designs on the other. he is facing charges of arson and attempted murder. reporting live in san francisco, christie smith, "today in the bay." >> san francisco police now hoping to stir up new leads in an unsolved murder that happened five years ago.

we have sketches of two suspects accused of killing a man back on january 7th 2007. police say the men confronted him and shot him in an suv. he later died at the hospital. today his mother and san francisco police are returning to the scene of the crime to talk about the status of this investigation. it turns out oakland police are not happy with the city's plans to help the department. the chronicle reports that the police union is upset about the city's plan to bring in ten alameda county sheriff's deputies and a sergeant to help out the understaffed department. officers think the $530,000 can be better spent on squad cars, better training and/or new hires. a special meeting being held to talk about the proposed closure of several east bay firestations. county supervisors voting last night to shut down four stations. those will be in clayton,

lafayette, martinez and walnut creek. they say these closures are necessary and needed to close a budget deficit. tonight's meeting starts at 6:30 at the lafayette veterans memorial building. every driver in the bay area will be watching closely as the marin county man challenges the rules of the road in court today. jonathan friedman says he got a traffic ticket for intentionally driving solo in the carpool lane. he says he wasn't alone in the car. he had his corporation papers with him and since legally corporations are considered people in the state of california. he said he did in fact have another person in the car with him. >> i got corporation papers here. it's a person. he yelled at me. you need two persons in the car. i said i got them. >> the court might say it says person and a corporation is a person so that will work for a carpool lane. i doubt it.

>> friedman says he hopes his case creates a national discussion about corporate personhood. he wants to turn that legal definition on its head. >> have to give the man credit for creative thinking. >> for being an activist. >> outside of the box. >> activist. >> i like that. christina loren telling us you might want to be active outside today. nice and sunny. >> it certainly is. good morning to you. 6:05. a live look beautiful conditions over san jose. it's beautiful because those low clouds right now situated above the highway and you can see what's happening here. mike has areas that could slow you down. we'll get to his report in just a minute. temperatures are cold this morning. cold enough for patchy frost. we also have some fog out there this morning that's really starting to thicken up. potential for freezing fog and if we do see any of that most likely up in the north bay really want to travel cautiously up in santa rosa. certainly going to see patchy fog and frost as we head throughout the morning and that could lead to slick conditions on the roadway. let's take you through future cast and show you your day in

detail. we stop the clock at 7:00 a.m. when fog is at its thickest. at that point concentrated over the san francisco bay. stop the clock at noon. sun comes back out. clear conditions as you break for lunch. it will be a good day to get on outdoors with no rain in the forecast? there is some coming our way. about 60 degrees at the coast. ie, get it while it's warm. much cooler weather on the way and that rain as well. we'll show you when your seven-day outlook is ready to go in my next report. let's get to the report with mike. it's busy out there. >> we had vacation. we didn't. a lot of people had vacation for the last couple of weeks. schools are back now. that means that the commute as well. we're looking at 880 through fremont with more company for the southbound direction heading down toward mission. i'll show you the same area on the map. you see the speeds starting to dip just a bit in patches here. also fog left on the windshield wipers. you may have to use them because

of the mist and fog across the dumbarton bridge through the flat section around the radio towers. chp warned us about that earlier this morning. here at the mission interchange with 680 reports of an accident clearing from the lanes as well. you see slowing in both directions around that interchan interchange. commute is starting to build. we have an accident and activity clearing in the next few. i'll let you know if it's blocking lanes in either direction. it sounds like activity has cleared from the freeway. fog on the right. that's the orange section highlighted there. it shows you where the fog will be an issue for drivers traveling through the tri-valley. a typical build in terms of speeds and volume building up through that area. over on the left we see 880 starting to slow down and this accident reported a crash here at the off-ramp for 185. that's mission as you head down through the area. it's called foothill there. we change the names but the number stayed the same.

south 238 is countercommute. watch the sewing off castro valley y. over toward the maze, that's a big concern. right now speeds maintaining the limit through berkeley a little slow out of richmond and we'll get a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. we see the backup in all lanes as lights have been turned on. it's 6:308. there's your backup. palo alto police say officers have found evidence linking andrew phillip stafford to several other thefts in san jose. officers say they found packages stashed away at a storage locker under stafford's name. the 25 year old was arrested back on new year's day in palo alto after a neighbor allegedly spotted him stealing packages. the time now is 6:08. coming up, it's time to get it on. the nhl hockey season officially back but the question remains when will the puck officially drop? we have the latest details on

welcome back, everybody. the morning commute is in full effect on this monday with a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. pleasa plenty of people heading into san francisco to kick off the workweek. it is 6:12. right now a look at the hp pavilion. soon, hockey fans, your sport will be back on ice. we're not exactly sure when the 2013 season will start. the good news is it's going to start. they have a deal. it's possible the nhl could release the schedule as early as this morning. terms of the ten-year deal that ended that lockout finally still need to be ratified by both sides. league executives say they would like to see a 48-game regular season schedule that could start as early as january 19th. the number of a teams key players for the sharks have already been back in the bay area or they actually may have just stayed here during the lockout. training camp expected to start thursday. it's here. 6:12. a quick check of the day's top

stories. san francisco police are searching for a man they say set his girlfriend on fire after an argument sunday. the 25-year-old woman is now in the hospital with life threatening burn injuries. remember the california fish and game commissioners sparked that controversy after shooting a mountain lion on a hunting trip in idaho? he's nearing the end of his term. wildlife advocates have been calling for dan richards to step down for shooting that cat which is legal in idaho but illegal here in california. richards' term on the panel ends next tuesday. a smaller crowd is expected in washington for inauguration day this year. 800,000 people are expected to watch as president obama takes the oath of office for the second time on january 21st. that's down from 2 million people who watched his first inauguration four years ago. we now know who the top two bidders are in the fight to buy wonder bread and other hostess

bread brands. flower foods and bimbo are in talks. the brands could go for $350 million. bimbo include thomas english muffins and flower foods includes the brand nature's own. hostess announcing in november it was shutting down its business and selling off bread, snacks and cake brands. 6:14. apple is making its tablets smaller. >> but another is making them bigger. >> yeah. don't want to get too technical here on how big these are. we call it ginormous. they have announced a new tablet it calls the horizon. look at this promotional video. you want a big tablet, they have a big tablet. in fact, drop the t off tablet and you have a table. this thing is 17 pounds. now, this was announced at ces, the consumer electronic show in

las vegas. got under way last night. expect all kinds of new gadgets to be unveiled as the conference lasts the rest of the week. you won't hear anything from apple at least from las vegas. apple is a member of the consumer electronics association that puts on the show but it doesn't participate in the show. it does occasionally upstage it with an announcement from california. we'll see. and they will start building their own handheld game machine. they make graphics chips. the most important component in other people's game machines. now this is a bit surprising because the handheld game business is just a mess. ask nintendo about that. and new this morning, video out of pyongyang, north korea, where google chairman eric schmidt and former governor bill richardson have touched down in beijing. we are getting a better idea as to what the mission is. we'll have an update for you in just a few minutes.

>> all right, scott. thank you so much. san francisco's famed science museum is packing up. crews will begin moving 450 exhibits from the palace of fine arts. the museum is moving to its new home at pier 15, which is three times larger than its current location. work should be done in a few weeks. grand opening will be held in april. the official start is the 17th of april. with the exploratorium on the move, its old home at the palace of fine arts is on the market. the building has 80,000 square feet of space and the asking price starts at $490,000 a year. city officials say a search for a long-term tenant could take a year or two. it's 6:16. i have never been there to the exploratorium. what's your favorite part? >> i'm fascinated. i've never been there. >> i want to go. >> let's stick to science.

we'll go together when they open that new one. that should be a good time. 6:16 now. taking a live look outside where we do have low clouds over san francisco. looking pretty good though overall we are expecting flight delays. those will probably crop up between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00. everything looks good. 6:17. a live look right now at your temperatures where it is cold out there. we're at 44 in san francisco. down to the south bay, temperatures are just a touch warmer. not by much. 37 degrees for instance here. in san jose to start we have full cloud cover overhead right now and a lot of low clouds settling at the surface. watch out for thick fog. san jose down to half mile of visibility. livermo livermore, a quarter of a mile. be aware as you head out the front door especially through the silicon valley you'll encounter thick fog this morning. stop fog on future cast. you see the bay area nice and sunny by 3:00 p.m.

tomorrow morning, another round of low clouds and drizzle. we'll see a warmer afternoon. wednesday things start to change a bit. area of low pressure moves into northern california. that's going drive in plenty of cloud cover. and that cool ocean air significant onshore flow will drop your temperatures from mid 60s today into the low 50s. it's going to get cold around here. we might see a stray shower or two at about 2:00 p.m. on wednesday otherwise they are looking mostly dry for the week. temperatures today will be nice for outdoor activities. maybe even putting them off because of the rain yesterday. no excuses today. 62 degrees in livermore if you want to get out the weather will cooperate. 61 in san jose. and 61 degrees in los gatos, redwood city and san francisco. the next couple days temperatures are going to change. look at tuesday into wednesday. ten-degree drop there. clouds increasing. that's our one and only chance for showers wednesday of this week. a better chance late saturday into sunday. i think saturday will be a better day for outdoor activities. already thinking about the

weekend even though it's monday. you have to get to work first. mike is here to help you do so. >> make sure some kids get to school. most schools. make sure you check the school schedules carefully. my kids start in school in fremont. others do not. we're looking at 280 coming over through the area. we're seeing a heavier flow of traffic. some commute issic c isi isi is. we are integrated with weather data. orange shows low clouds hovering above the surface of the street in many cases. it might affect visibility in some hills. the only issue is here north 87 where you see yellow now as you come up from capital expressway into downtown. volume shifting around a bit. we'll track this. meanwhile fog and low clouds, look at palo alto where we see

the glow to the lights continues here a bit and this billboard here by ikea illustrates during foggy times we shouldn't use high beams. things get brighter and reflect off of the cloud and moisture in the air and that makes it tough to see. a note for you, visibility clear through this year and for approach for foster city coming off san mateo bridge. 92 here shows a smooth drive. this shot here on the peninsula for the bridge. same bridge on the other side hayward side you can't even see roadway. a couple taillights visible. they disappear 20 feet away. this is a tough drive as far as visibility goes on the hayward side watch the dumbarton bridge. by contrast, bay bridge a clear view but not a clear road. look at the backup because metering lights were turned on. backup back to the berkeley curve and coming down the east shore freeway. the commute is on here. slow drive in many spots. north bay not so bad. we'll show that to you coming up. back to you. >> right now we have brand new

video just into our newsroom. secretary of state hillary clinton returning to work today in washington after a month in the hospital. her car right there was seen pulling through a security gate on capitol hill. clinton back to work after recovering from a blood clot doctors found in her head. she was released from the hospital and expected to make a full recovery. she got out of the hospital last wednesday. back here in the bay area, something new on the menus at school in san francisco this morning. they are partnering with revolution foods to provide healthier options for kids. it was started in 2006 with a focus on using local ingredients to create handmade healthy school lunches. the contract with san francisco unified is revolutions biggest deal yet. coming up, a bump in price at burning man. we'll let you know why the once

emergency crews are responding to a crash, a vehicle has hit a pedestrian in san leandro. chp says the victim is an elderly woman. she has been taken to the hospital. we do have a crew on the way and we'll bring you the latest development as soon as they come into the newsroom. tickets for the burning manifest value held in the desert are going on sale soon but some say the new prices are just too high. prices have been rising every year but this year they're starting at $380 a piece. that's compared to just $240 last year. there will be some tickets available for those who qualify for the low-income ticket plan. tickets will go on sale starting in february and this year it will be first come first served. the week-long festival being held the week leading up to labor day and if you don't remember, we'll let you know now when it started back in the '80s, burning man was free.

chuck hagel as his choice for secretary of defense. it's a decision that has plenty of critics on both sides of the aisle. "today in the bay's" tracie potts is live in washington, d.c. this morning. h hagel is a republican as i mentioned. he's getting heat from gop colleagues. why is his own party skeptical of this nomination? >> he backed cuts at the defense department and that's coming up again soon. on iran and its nuclear threat, he says the u.s. shouldn't look at a unilateral sanction and that is something that republicans disagree with. on israel this is something they honed in on. talked about israel trying to work out with his enemies calling the pro-israel lobby the jewish lobby. key republicans here on capitol hill say they will give him a fair hearing but they have tough questions for him to straighten this out. >> he's taken heat from the other side of the aisle.

the democrats also critical of hagel. why is that? >> reporter: no question. ten democrats may vote against him based on what we hear right now. he's made controversial comments about gays. he said at one point that gays were not as effective in their work. it's something that he later apologized for. president obama just in the last week clarifying. he understands my position on this. and obviously he thought it was not as much of a hindrance as it could be because he's expected in the next several hours to nominate him as defense secretary. >> with the controversy, why is the president going with hagel at all? >> reporter: you know, a couple of things. first of all, remember, he sort of side-stepped that susan rice issue. republicans said they'll give him a fair hearing. he tried to reach across the aisle. we've seen him do this in the past and get someone who is a republican or a former republican lawmaker in the administration. it would give his administration

the bipartisan tone he's going for. he's a vietnam war vet. he won the purple heart. obviously has some credentials behind him to help him lead the defense department. also a lot of questions ahead in these confirmation hearings. >> last question, tracie, before we let you go. if hagel is not confirmed, who is the backup? >> reporter: there were several other people we understand on the short list. the number two ashton carter at the defense department. there were backups and other people on the short list. obviously the president thinks he can get through this confirmation process. we don't know what that will happen. >> thanks so much. >> we're following a developing story overseas this morning. we have new video of google executive chairman eric schmidt alongside bill richardson. both arriving together in north korea. this one being called a

humanitarian trip. the obama administration is frowning on. for more on this and some insight, we're joined by business and tech reporter scott mcgrew. more clarity as to why this pair is there. >> good morning. we're hearing more from richardson this morning. at least one of the goals on the trip is to meet with an american by the name of kenneth bay. he was jailed in north korea just before christmas. reporters were able to catch up to the pair as they were making a connecting flight through beijing earlier. schmidt really in the background in all of this video. reporters really more interested in former governor richardson. the two are on a private trip not as representatives of the u.s. government or google. here is richardson talking about bay. >> the humanitarian situation, the issue of the american detainee in north korea. i have spoken to the son of the detainee. he wants me to try to bring his

the bay area. 60s. >> vail, that looked good, didn't it? you know what else is looking good? 140% of normal in tahoe. no need to hit colorado. we have really good skiing just a couple hours away. a live look now beautiful sunrise over san francisco. we have a mixture here. you notice we have high and mid level clouds in addition to low clouds that are settling in and dropping visibility. one of the mornings to give yourself plenty of time. pea soup fog out there in parts of the bay area. let's show you san jose. you can see the mountain lion very clearly. we do have some high clouds here and some pockets of deep fog as well. look at that. commute is back. we'll check on that with mike in just a minute. temperatures this morning are cold enough for a jacket just about everywhere. 44 degrees in san francisco. 34 in napa. 35 in concord. 41 degrees. you might get by with a heavy sweater in gilroy this morning. the temperatures are going to drop off a little bit more through the next hour and that fog will thicken. reduced visibility from santa rosa through napa and livermore.

it is 6:41. a strange and startling discovery inside a florida home lands two homeowners in big-time trouble with the law. nearly 300 animals including snakes, lizards and birds were

found roaming inside of that home. police made the discovery yesterday after getting a call of a missing toddler. the 16-month-old girl was later found unharmed at a relative's house. investigators say the relatives tried unsuccessfully to contact the couple who were allegedly intoxicated at the time. police have charged that couple with child abuse. 6:42. coming up, doused with gasoline and then set on fire. the search for a man on the run accused of engulfing his girlfriend in flames. what the woman's family is saying about the horrifying attack just ahead. looking ahead to washington's next fight and how it will affect wall street and your money coming up in business news.

this morning an all-out search for a man accused of setting his girlfriend on fire in san francisco. dexter oliver threw burning gasoline into his girlfriend's face before taking off. right now that woman clinging to life at the burn unit at st. francis hospital and that is where "today in the bay's" christie smith joins us live with a look at what led up to a horrifying and brutal attack. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. this was a horrible attack and according to witness this is guy didn't hide what he was doing at all. they say he threw a flammable liquid on his girlfriend and set her on fire and her family actually saw it. this morning san francisco police are asking for the public's help in finding that suspect, 22-year-old dexter oliver. among the witnesses the family of 25-year-old star lamar say the couple were dating for six months and it was a rocky relationship. the pair left a laundromat and

she told him the relationship was over. next thing they knew he returned to their home to get some gas. >> i saw him pour gasoline in a bottle and he left. i didn't know he was going to burn her. >> reporter: now lamar ran screaming while she was engulfed in flames and again police are looking for dexter oliver on attempted murder and arson charges. he's 5'10", 155 pounds with a very unusual haircut. it has a lightning bolt cut on one side and fish designs cut on the other. lamar was last listed in critical condition with burns to her face and chest. reporting live in san francisco, christie smith, "today in the bay." >> 6:46. the south bay's largest city now investigating the first homicide of the year. san jose police found a man shot to death in front of a home on tripoli avenue sunday morning. there are no arrests and so far the motive is unknown. there were 46 homicides in san

jose last year. more than any year since the 1990s. also in san jose, a woman is dead after her car went through a red light, lost control and then plowed through a fence into a pond. this happened sunday near highway 85 that on ramp there. a firefighter dove into that water to try to save her but could not see her. the santa clara county sheriff's dive team found that woman after she was trapped under the water for a total of 42 minutes. nobody else was inside that car. in millbrae a teenage girl is recovering after being shot near cappuccino high school. the 16 year old is now in stable condition. police don't know what provoked this shooting and so far no arrests have been made. of course this morning we're watching that weather for you as we give you a live look right now outside at san francisco and san jose. we double your pleasure. this morning we're keeping an eye on fog there. you can see it in san francisco

hovering over the low hanging clouds there. meteorologist christina loren is here to check things out for us. >> good morning to you. shot from san jose is deceptive. i have to tell you that much. we have areas where you can only see for a quarter of a mile or better. i'm talking about right outside our studios here in downtown san jose. we do have fog developing out there. want to show you a live picture of the san mateo bridge and fog here thickest through inland valleys. keep that in mind and travel cautiously. let's get right to the numbers. as you can see we have less than a quarter mile visibility from san jose to livermore this morning and three-quarters mile in santa rosa. good morning and welcome to the new week. of course it's the first monday of 2013 and we're looking good for the first monday. temperatures will climb into 30s and 40s into the 60s and we do have a nice finish to the day. a cold, foggy start. pea soup out there in livermore this morning. you only have quarter mile visibility and santa rosa is cold enough for fog to freeze on

your windshield. travel cautiously. slick out there this morning. we stop the clock on future cast and deep into the day at 3:00 p.m. mostly sunny conditions over the greater bay area. we stop that clock for you again when we meet back here tomorrow morning. we're going to hold onto that pattern of low clouds, fog to start but a nice sunny finish and then things start to change as we head through your wednesday. much colder weather on the way. cold air and some showers as well. we stop the clock for you at noon. that's when the temperatures are only going to be in the low 50s. we're going to see low 50s for wednesday, thursday and friday of this week. we're going to hold off on showers for the most part. we may get a stray shower or two at 3:00 p.m. on wednesday but not expecting much to develop. throughout your thursday, it will stay cool and then on friday into the weekend, we get our next rain chance. i think the best chance for that will be on sunday. enjoy the sunshine while it lasts for the first two days of the workweek. 62 degrees in livermore. 62 for gilroy. 61 degrees in los gatos. through wednesday temps will tumble and showers on sunday.

let's check your drive with mike. good morning. >> good morning. we're going to take you out to emeryville where we look at flow of traffic into emeryville out of berkeley. this plume of smoke we see industrial buildings with a plume of smoke but reports of a fire around university which is just to the south so we're scanning this area. i'm checking that out. in some respects the plume looks thicker than on other days. we'll check that out with our chopper and let you know if anything is going on at the warehouses in the area. slowing down to the bay bridge. the bay bridge toll plaza itself has a big backup. that kicked in just after 6:00 a.m. so the metering lights are on. flow to the bridge itself heavier than the last couple weeks. maps show you things are playing out well so far. the caldecott moving smoothly with 880 through oakland heading north or west. we'll look at slowing here for 680 and 242 into walnut creek

and south through alamo. this build earlier than we have seen for the last couple weeks. more folks on the roads as schools are back in session. a couple have kids thumbing noses at the other kids because they have one more day off. castro valley y is slower. north 238 over toward 880 where both directions out of san leandro have slowing but flow of traffic moving smoothly to the san mateo bridge where the earlier shot i showed you trouble so tough visibility across highway 92. also on the map we're showing orange here for tough drive and tough visibility through livermore as christina said. s a pocket of fog around the golf course and that's what's causing a problem down into fremont. you see the pocket so you will slow as you head up the grade. what you can't see between sunol and into fremont heading over the hill which is low clouds which become fog. south bay looking at northbound 101 with a volume of traffic and heavy clouds through the area so fog for many parts of san jose especially anywhere east of 680.

iet right cou psychiatrist could evaluate goh. another mass shooting is prompting calls for change in the way the country controls access to guns and ammunition. just weeks ago 20 children, six adults were killed by a young man at sandy hook elementary school in connecticut. the suspect was armed with hundreds of bullets and a semiautomatic rifle with 30 rounds of magazines there. and now lawmakers are demanding solutions to make sure this never happens again. berkeley assemblywoman nancy skinner announcing a bill to tighten regulations on ammunition sales in california. the bill would keep high capacity magazines from being sold statewide. on capitol hill, neither the house or senate are in session today. >> several big stories are shaking it up out there nevertheless. secretary of state hillary clinton back at work this morning. her car seen there pulling

through a security gate on capitol hill. clinton was hospitalized last week after doctors discovered a blood clot in her head. she's been hospitalized for a few weeks. she was released from the hospital last wednesday. meantime president obama is set to reveal his pick for secretary of defense today. former republican senator chuck hagel is expected to touch off a heated confirmation fight. he faces criticism from republicans after calling on israel to negotiate with palestinians. he is also criticized by democrats for controversial comments he made in 1998 when he called a nominee for ambassador "openly aggressively gay." he has since apologized for that comment. as for president obama, he's now signed a bill into law to help victims of superstorm sandy. some $9.7 billion are now available to fema so that more than 100,000 flood claims will not be delayed. a $51 billion aid package

expected to be voted on on january 15th. former general stanny stanl mcchrystal is making the rounds today to talk about the scandal that brought down his career. mcchrystal was tasked with turning around the war in afghanistan before stepping down after controversial comments were published in "rolling stone" magazine. he'll sit down with the "today" show right after "today in the bay." the stock market taking a breather today after a winning week last week. >> with the fiscal cliff, more or less behind them, investors are looking ahead to the debt ceiling. >> another fight to worry about. we're watching dow industrials sink ever so slightly this morning down 70 points. nasdaq down 16. you are looking at vail earlier. live opening in colorado.

every 15 minutes throughout the "today" show. let's get a check off your drive and that certainly back in action. good morning, mike. >> a commute this morning. we also have this chopper checked out this plume of smoke. a couple folks called a fire in. they swung by the warehouse before they had to clear the area because of fog. they said there is an open flame there. it's supposed to be there. that's a typical plume we see. that's the flow of traffic as well. no fire in berkeley. nothing unusual. we do have that commute that's back approaching the bay bridge and slow richmond into berkeley. we'll show you the south bay maps as well where we have the orange all over the place. that's the low clouds and fog that christina is talking about. unusual for san jose. just keep that in mind. that will slow you a bit. 101, 87, 280, 85 show speeds coming down into the 50s. accident north 101 over here is slowing things down as you pass by capital. activity in the second lane is a middle lane and that will be an
